Earn 24 hours of credit towards your certification as a CPTED Professional.  NICP CPTED Professional Designation Qualifying Course \nThis course will be held at the University of South Florida Marshall Student Center in room 3708. \nMay 13 – 15\, 2024 \nThis 3-day (24-hour) course is specifically designed for Law Enforcement Officers\, City Planners\, City Managers\, City Council Members\, Architects\, Security Consultants\, Educators or anyone involved in designing neighborhoods\, schools\, downtowns\, buildings\, or revitalization efforts. It is an effective way of fighting crime and promoting business. This Advanced CPTED course is designed to instruct students on the more complex issues of environmental design as they relate to topics such as: terrorism\, lighting technology\, human behavior\, traffic calming\, schools\, ordinance writing and the creation of security guidelines.
