A three-day social media workshop for School Resource Officers from the Florida Crime Prevention Training Institute. The class provides information that can be used to educate the parent/guardian, school staff, the community, and students of the dangers that lurk in the cyber world. SROs learn how to use social media to spread the word about these issues via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and podcasting. Also, they are taught the investigation techniques when responding to these reports.
